In order to configure the BuyNow Button module to accept donations you will need to enter values for the following settings:
- Email Address: This field is always required and should be set to the email address associated with the PayPal account.
- Button Image: Again, this field is always required. You can enter a URL to a button or select an image that is located on your portal. *Note: If you select File, you will have the ability to upload a new image to the portal.
- Item Name: Not a required field, but should be entered as this will show on the PayPal page when viewing the transaction.
- Currency Code: Is not required, but it is recommended that you provide your local currency code.
- Quantity: The default value is set to one and is the desired value for donations.
Helpful Tip: If you would like to use the standard PayPal Donate button you can enter the following URL: http://www.paypal.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_donateCC_LG.gif into the Button Image field. This URL is for the United States version of the button. You can find other buttons by replacing the en_US portion of the URL with a different locale code, such as en_GB for the Great Britain version of the button.
